Workplace Charging Scheme
The OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme pays up to £500 per socket, for up to 40 sockets across all your sites (2026 rates). It's open to businesses, charities and public sector organisations, and is currently due to run until March 2027. We check eligibility and handle the application. See EV charger grants.
Planning a multi-charger site
Commercial sites need more planning than a driveway. We look at your supply capacity, three-phase availability, load management between chargers, cable routes across the car park, and whether you need access control or payment for public users. Where the supply needs reinforcing, we manage the application to SSEN.
Ongoing support
Regular inspection is part of your electrical maintenance duty. We offer servicing and fault response for every charger we fit.
Common questions
Can we charge staff or visitors to use the chargers?
Yes. Many commercial chargers support RFID cards or app-based payment, with a tariff you set.
Do we need three-phase power?
Not always. Several 7kW single-phase chargers with load balancing suit many workplaces. Faster 22kW chargers need three-phase.
